Color Study (Oranges), 3/3

$150.00
DESCRIPTION

A unique cyanotype print painted with gradients of bright orange-red acrylic paint on watercolor paper. Each piece is hand printed and painted thoughtfully and intentionally—a meditation on color and form.

What is a Cyanotype? Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. Engineers used the process well into the 20th century as a way to produce copies of drawings, referred to as blueprints.

DETAILS
  • Art piece: 9 x 7 inches

  • Frame Size: 12 x 10 inches

  • Brass-finish metal frame with cream mat

  • 120 lb watercolor paper, Signed and editioned, 3 of 3

I do my best to represent colors as accurately as possible in images, however there may be slight color differences to the in person piece.
